Podcasting 101. An introduction into making Podcasts that people actually want to listen to.
From “Serial” to the “Joe Rogan Experience” - Podcasts have changed the way we consume audio. But how are Podcasts created? And is it true that anyone can make a Podcast? In this workshop we will take a look behind the scenes of the Podcasting industry to discover the techniques of how successful Podcasts are made. You will get to know each step of a typical Podcast production, its pitfalls as well as some well-kept secrets, so you can start your own Podcast.
Target audience: People interested in making Podcasts with little or no knowledge about audio or Podcast production.

Physiotherapy and Prevention - Insight into various concepts and their evolution over time
This lecture will provide insight into the various concepts of prevention within the context of physiotherapy. Explicit focus will be set on the concept of injury prevention / risk reduction of sports injuries and whether this is actually possible. Injury ratios of different sports injuries and between different sports will be compared and the prevention, risk reduction and management of common sports injuries will be discussed.

All students of the technical master study programs will present their master thesis topics at an early stage of the thesis process. Feedback by the audience is highly appreciated and might help the students to enhance their concepts. Students will start with a 30 second pitch statement and will then present their ideas, concepts, research questions and planned methods in a typical conference-style poster session. All visitors beeing interested in technical master thesis topics are welcome.

INPRO – Interprofessionalism in action
In this workshop, students of the departments of Health Sciences + Department of Social Studies will be facing the challenge of working interprofessionally and internationally on various paper cases. The INPRO project is aiming at establishing and reinforcing the possibilities of interprofessional and international teaching in higher education. At the end of this 3-day process, the participating students will present their results in an open presentation.
